Michael E. Bryan II
Mike was learning about construction techniques and financing before he could drive a car. He grew up in a family of appraisers. Michael started in the family appraisal business in 1982, first assisting with research, delivering appraisals and most importantly interacting with clients. By 1984, at age 18, Michael was independently appraising. He continued appraising while obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Sonoma State University. In 1996 Mike opened his own firm, Comp 1 Real Estate Appraisal.
Michael's appraisal experience is as varied as the neighborhoods Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties. Ocean front to river front, large vineyard estates to mobile homes, homes with docks and homes made of logs. Mike has appraised just about every type of residential property the North Bay has to offer. Most notably he has appraised the McDonald Mansion in Santa Rosa, "Quisisana" in Kentfield and a historic abobe residence in the city of Sonoma. In addition to appraising properties for real estate financing, Michael is an expert witness and has provided valuation services for estate planning.
His clients include the many of the area's leading mortgage lenders, Realtors, accountants, attorneys and civic leaders. Michael also has been a guest on local radio programs, and a guest speaker for real estate classes, trade groups and real estate offices.
Michael is a Certified Residential Appraisal with the State of California, AR004865.
